FAQs

The aim of playing Oopla is to Log Activities every 28 days to score points.

The purpose of this is to encourage everyone who takes part to meet the recommended minimum guidelines of 150 minutes of Physical Activity per week.

The only rule is that each activity needs to be 10 minutes or more and should be at least a moderate intensity for it to count.

Oopla allows everyone to play on a level playing field, so everyone is able to take part, regardless of current fitness ability or time availability. It's not about doing as much exercise as humanly possible, but instead about building daily habits, so everyone can enjoy playing Oopla!

The aim of the game is to meet and exceed the WHO recommended activity levels each week (approx 30 minutes per day), something that everyone should always be trying to achieve.

You will score points from taking part in your own choice of activities, so Oopla will suit every type of interest. It's fair game!

Simply log any activity you would count as your daily exercise for 10 minutes or more. Then add to your Activity Log manually or connect to one of our third-party connections like Strava or Garmin to add activities automatically.

Follow the points scoring system and work out a strategy to maximise your Oopla Score.

Aim for an Oopla score of 300 or more every 28 days.

No, all you require is access to the internet to log your activity. You can use a smartphone to use the free Strava App to record activities, these will sync automatically with Oopla.

If you own a compatible fitness or GPS device (e.g. Apple Watch), you can sync this to Strava and it will send it to Oopla.

You can link Garmin directly with Oopla, or via Strava.

Oopla complies with all GDPR legislation. View https://www.oopla.app/privacy

Everyone can also choose to use our Stealth Mode on the Leaderboard if you want to keep your identity completely hidden.

Strava users can choose their Full Privacy Settings ("Only Me") so you become invisible on Strava and only the data we need gets sent to us at Oopla.

We do not show anyone your geographical location or the time of day that you do your activities
